Excellent quality, excellent battery life 4 weeks installed and still on 86%. Installed under the eves in extension to protected from above but still exposed to frost and other weather but handles both well. night vision is excellent as is motion detection. All in all excellent at this price point. I would like to see a daily schedule so you can have it on 'home' during the day when you are in and out and 'Away' during the night.

Another value for money camera. Needed one for watching my door for parcel theft. Its smart, records only after detecting motion, can set monitoring zones and adjust sensitivity to record only the most important events. For the price I got it for on a Black Friday deals, I'll surely buy a few more. The recording quality in both modes is decent, 2k, or set it to auto if you're using the cloud for storage. I've had it for 2 weeks now and it's on 85% battery despite me spending loads of time connected to it exploring different functionality. I'm sure the battery would last even longer. Highly recommend this if you want a camera that gets the job done without too many gimmicks. Only drawback is you're limited to use TP Link's cloud storage only if you need the cloud, but it's not so bad. The app is easy to use as well. 4 stars for a great camera, lost one star because I'd have loved to be able to save footage to one drive or Google drive.

this is my second tapo camera very good cameras easy to set up. and cordless so no wires battery is good holds a good charge been on 3 days and only used 10% battery i put 128g card in it night time looks like day in colour mode. very clear camera is stationary so there’s no pan & tilt on it i can look on it from anywhere i am talk to people on it works on alexa and through your phone. excellent product. the photo is a nite time shot from iphone.

Decided to replace my Arlo Essential camera due to their ever increasing monthly costs. This was so easy to set up (already had the Tapo app for the smart plugs) and it works with my Arlo solar panel (just needed a micro to usb c adapter) The picture quality and ease of use is fantastic. So much so that I bought a second one (solar panel kit) for the rear of the house. Day 1 had high battery drain so took it down charged and rebooted it and so far it's now working perfectly. So far would highly recommend this camera.

The Tapo Camera TC82 looks great, and at first, you might think it’s up to the task—but unfortunately, it’s not. Motion detection is unreliable; recordings don’t activate fast enough, often missing the first few seconds, meaning you might only catch someone leaving the scene. Additionally, recordings randomly cut off even when there’s clear movement on camera. Detection is hit or miss—sometimes it misses entirely, while other times, it mistakes a stone on the ground for a person. A major flaw with the TC82 is its poor battery life when used with a Tapo Hub. Despite investing in the Tapo ecosystem, I found the hub rapidly drained the camera’s battery. Support confirmed the hub was constantly sending requests to the camera but couldn’t explain why, and they ultimately gave up. I had to separate my Tapo Hub and TC82 onto different IP ranges to prevent this issue. Warranty support is disappointing. I had to return a camera due to what I assume was rainwater damage, but despite using a tracked service, they claimed they never received the package, making me wait weeks for a replacement. Now, I’m trying to get an RMA for a faulty solar panel, but the support process is painfully slow, with unhelpful emails dragging things out. I dread sending it back, knowing the service will likely be just as bad. I also have privacy concerns after noticing that Tapo devices send data to China and direct to China’s version of Google. I don’t know why, but it makes me question whether choosing the Tapo ecosystem was a smart decision.

Possui ampla área de visualização. Com bom posicionamento é possível visualizar todo o cômodo, o que contorna a inexistência de controle remoto. A qualidade da imagem é muito bom na luminosidade e parcialmente escuro. O infravermelho só entra em ação quando está completamente escuro. Consegue cumprir bem sua função - para o preço - em um cômodo. O único ponto negativo é que fica bem aparente a luz vermelha do infra vermelho. O microfone de captação é bem decente e a recepção também, sobretudo pelo preço. A instalação é muito simples pelo aplicativo da própria fabricante e permite visualização de múltiplas câmeras da fabricante. Única falha é que o compartilhamento com terceiros é apenas parcial (imagem). É possível a visualização direta na Echo Show, com um pequeno delay, sem precisar de autorização prévia da fabricante, como acontece com outras. Permite visualização e escuta. Infelizmente, a aplicação no Echo Show fica restrito às contas vinculadas do administrador. Esta função poderia ser expandida para aqueles que tem o compartilhamento. Neste caso o convidado não consegue ter qualquer acesso em seus dispositivos com Echo Show, o que seria simples de ser liberado.
