These bird proof spikes require assembly. I bought a pack of 10 and there are 19 spikes in each of the 10 plastic holders, push the spikes into the holes and once you have done the assembly, the spikes work great, tight and dense, very effective. You can connect them together to make a continuous row of spikes.

I ordered the pack of 10 bird spikes. When they come there are 10 plastic spike strips and 10 packets of metal wire spikes that you need to insert into the plastic strips. This takes a while with 10 packets of spikes and 10 strips. Once inserted these bird spikes are great. There are screw holes to fix them with if you want but they don't come with any fixings. I personally stuck them onto the top of my garden solar panels using sealer and it worked perfectly. You can snap the plastic strips between any of the spikes to shorten them if you need to.

Wir haben vieles versucht, um den Tauben unseren Balkon ungastlich zu machen. Ohne Erfolg. Dann sind wir auf diese Taubenabwehr gestoßen, deren Konzept uns schon von den Produktfotos angesprochen hat. Also schnell bestellt…und dann kam der Zusammenbau. Der war zwar einfach, aber doch zeitaufwändiger als gedacht. Am Ende des Tages hat sich der Aufwand aber gelohnt: keine einzige Taube hat sich mehr auf den Handlauf unseres Balkons gesetzt und den schönen Edelstahl bzw. unseren Balkon mit Hinterlassenschaften verdreckt. Wir sind total begeistert und vergeben gerne fünf Sterne. Lieferumfang: Die Lieferung besteht aus den Metalldornen und den Trägerschienen aus durchsichtigem Kunststoff. Anleitung: Eine umfangreiche Bedienungsanleitung liegt bei. Sie ist in deutscher Sprache und mit vielen Abbildungen ausgestattet. Bedienung und Funktion: Ich habe zuerst die Metalldorne in die Kunststoffträger gesteckt. Dann die einzelnen Trägerschienen auf der Unterseite mit dem doppelseitigen Klebeband versehen und die Träger ineinander gehakt. Dann haben wir zu zweit den Dornen-Strang auf dem Handlauf unseres Balkons geklebt – mit der 2. Seite des doppelseitigen Klebebands. Da wir mit dem Halt noch nicht zufrieden waren, haben wir die Trägerschienen noch mit Kabelbindern rund um die Handläufe fixiert.

Il prodotto è realizzato in acciaio inox di alta qualità e plastica resistente, garantendo non solo un'ottima robustezza, ma anche una resistenza eccellente agli agenti atmosferici. L'acciaio inox assicura che le punte non si ossidino nel tempo, anche esposte a pioggia, sole e vento, mentre la base in plastica favorisce una facile installazione e stabilità su diverse superfici. Le punte son ben distribuite e impediscono agli uccelli di appollaiarsi. Il montaggio è stato semplice e veloce: si possono fissare con viti, fascette o colla a seconda delle esigenze, adattandosi bene a diverse superfici come ringhiere, recinzioni e muretti. Io ho preferito fissarli con nastro biadesivo di buona qualità su un mobile in resina da esterno e sull'unità esterna del condizionatore. Negli ultimi giorni i piccioni sono scomparsi e per ora non posso che essere soddisfatto. Il prezzo non è proprio economico ma rispetto ad altre soluzioni simili il risultato è migliore perché la combinazione di punte in acciaio e spuntoni in plastica fa sì che non vi sia spazio a sufficienza per far intrufolare e accomodare i piccioni.

unser Krüppelwalmdach hat im Giebel eine Regenrinne, auf deren Rand sich liebend gern Tauben niederlassen. Der Wintergarten darunter sieht regelmäßig weiß gesprenkelt aus, ebenso die bei Sonnenschein automatisch ausfahrende Markise. Die aus langlebigem Edelstahl bestehenden Spikes müssen hier noch in die Kunststoffhalterungen geclipst werden. Bei der Montage sollte eine Schutzbrille getragen werden. Die Dinger stehen unter Spannung und wenn man abrutscht, fliegen sie meterweit. Ein entsprechender Hinweis - und sei es auch nur ein Aufkleber auf dem Karton - wäre sicherlich sinnvoll und wäre kein Kostenfaktor, so etwas fehlt jedoch. Eine rückwärtige Befestigung ist nicht erforderlich, die Spikes halten allein durch die Federkraft. Die zusammengeclipsten Schienen stehen bei uns einfach nur in der Dachrinne, die Spikes sind dafür entsprechend zurechtgebogen. Von unten aus kann man sie kaum sehen. Im Lieferumfang finden sich 190 Spikes, um jede der 10 Kunststoffschienen zu je 300 mm Länge vollständig bestücken zu können. Die Gesamthöhe nach dem Zusammenbau liegt bei ungefähr 10 cm, die gephotoshoppten Bilder zum Begleittext würden mich eher vom Kauf abhalten - der hierfür Verantwortliche hat wohl von Marketing überhaupt keine Ahnung. Die Überwachungskamera auf dem Dach zeigt inzwischen die lieben Tierchen im Anflug und im Abdrehen, nachdem das Hindernis offenbar als nicht so ganz ungefährlich erkannt wurde. Aufgespiesst hat sich bisher immerhin noch keine Taube, sie scheinen jetzt unsere Dachrinne zu meiden. Einfache und kostengünstige Lösungen wie diese sind oft die besten - fliegt doch zum Nachbarn!
